That's The Way God Planned It es el cuarto álbum de estudio del músico estadounidense Billy Preston, publicado en agosto de 1969 por Apple Records.

El álbum siguió a la colaboración de Preston con los Beatles en su single "Get Back" y fue producido por George Harrison. La canción que da título al álbum se convirtió en un éxito en el Reino Unido cuando se publicó como sencillo.

Además de Harrison, otros colaboradores del álbum son Keith Richards, Eric Clapton y Doris Troy.
